On January 23, 2018, the second general meeting of the Shandong Lubricant Industry Association was held grandly at the Arcadia Hotel in Liaocheng. As a major member unit of the association, Shandong Lipai Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was invited to participate in this grand event

This conference also specially invited leaders from relevant units, brother associations, and domestic lubricant industry experts, including Zhang Tongfei from the Political Research Office of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, Ma Xifu, Director of the National Lubricant Enterprise Alliance Special Committee, Li Xuelong, Deputy Director of the National Lubricant Enterprise Alliance, Li Zhihe, President of Tianjin Lubricant Association, Pan Chuanyi, Secretary General of Guangdong Lubricant Industry Association, to attend.

According to the agenda of the event, this meeting is mainly divided into three main contents: the second member conference, the lubricant industry development forum, and the first council meeting of the second session.

1. The Second Membership Conference

The first president Ma Zhiqing delivered the "First Council Work Report" to the conference, comprehensively summarizing the work of the association over the past three years and placing hopes on the next development of the association from the perspective of the new era. Subsequently, Comrade Zhang Hongmei presented the "Association Financial Work Report" to the conference, Comrade Liu Wenyou read out the commendation of the first outstanding member unit, and the company representative Shandong Libai Petrochemical Co., Ltd. went on stage to receive the industry outstanding contribution award trophy and honor certificate.

Subsequently, in accordance with the requirements of the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, the association established an election committee and a supervision committee. Under the careful organization of the committee staff, the election work proceeded in an orderly manner.

After fair and impartial elections at the second general meeting, Comrade Jiao Chong was elected as the second president of the association, Liu Wenyou, Zheng Jianqiang, Wang Zhiyuan, Liu Qingcheng, and Zhang Liangeng were elected as vice presidents, and Zhang Hongmei was elected as the second secretary-general. Fifteen comrades including Jiao Chong, Zhang Hongmei, Yao Xiang, and Liu Wenyou were elected as members of the second council of the association, and formed the second leadership collective of the association represented by Comrade Jiao Chong.

2. Lubricant Industry Development Summit Forum

Comrade Jiao Chong, the newly elected president, delivered an important speech, pointing out that effectively grasping and integrating the existing resources of the lubricant industry in the province is an inevitable requirement for promoting the transformation and development of the lubricant industry in our province, expanding and strengthening it, as well as a practical need for the healthy development of the industry and the common voice of enterprises. It is also an inevitable measure to create a national lubricant brand to replace imports and cope with the future. In future work, the association will pragmatically and effectively carry out member service work, do some big and practical things that were planned but not done in the early stage, implement and promote the implementation of various plans, and create a new face and situation for the development of the association.
